Muskan Speech and Hearing center a Best Sound Center of Signia
(SIEMENS) Hearing Aids is running successfully for last 18 years. The center was started in 2001 with the aim to provide solution to speech and hearing related problems to people of Jalandhar and surrounding region under one roof.
As speech and hearing are related to each other, so there should be one center that should look after both the areas and there was no such center in Jalandhar at that time.This was the first center which started providing CUSTOMIZED and PROGRAMMABLE hearing aids to the patients.

Muskan Speech and Hearing center was started by Sonia Gera, who acquired her Bachelor degree from PGI, Chandigarh and Masters degree from ALL INDIA INSTITUTE OF SPEECH AND HEARING, MYSORE. She was the first specialist of this field with masters degree not only in Jalandhar but in whole of Doaba and till now she is probably the only one.
Most of Hearing Aid centers running in Jalandhar are owned by businessmen and they employ Audiologist( Speech and Hearing specialists) to run the centers. As most of audiologist are from other states, they leave the job when they get job in their own state, leading to problem in long term follow up of patients. Moreover they are given some targets for monthly sales and asked to sell costly hearing aids. But as Muskan Speech and Hearing center is owned and run by Mrs Sonia Gera herself, there are no such targets and obligations to sell costly hearing aids.
In this center HEARING AIDS ARE DISPENSED AND NOT SIMPLY SOLD.
